The Artists

Wolff and Nagel and Blue

Jim Nagel received an A.O. S. Degree in Fine Woodworking and Furniture Design from the Wendell Castle School in School in Scottsville, New York. He was Artist in Residence at the Wendell Castle School, as well as at the Genoa School.

Elizabeth Wolff has a B. A. in Anthropology from SUNY Geneseo and a Diploma in Furniture Making and Design from the Genoa School in Genoa, New York. Following graduation, Elizabeth worked as a teaching assistant at the school.

Jim has been making furniture for well over 30 years, and Elizabeth for more than 20. Within a few years of getting together, and after initial renovations on their old farm house, they decided to build their own workshop. They have since added two additions onto the shop. House renovations are ongoing…
